rezagado, da – straggler, latecomer

ray-sah-GAH-doe; sustantivo masculino y femenino

Ejemplo:
Los rezagados llegaron dos horas tarde.
The stragglers arrived two hours late.

ir rezagado – to straggle, to lag behind

La muchacha siempre iba rezagada.
The girl always lagged behind.

quedar rezagado – to be left behind

Miguel quedó rezagado y volvió a casa.
Michael was left behind and returned home.
