Learn Spanish through repetition
How 1stSpanish.com came about
1stSpanish.com is a blog designed for people who are passionate about learning Spanish. All my life language has fascinated me, and for years I wanted to create a blog. At the beginning of 2009, I decided to do it. I spent hours visiting Internet sites with similar focuses, and I came to two conclusions. First, that substantial demand existed for training, lessons, classes, books, grammar, tutorials, readings, videos, audios, and other forms of information about the Spanish language. Second, that most of the existing Spanish-language websites were long on entertainment and short on substance. Few Internet websites offer the repetition that language learners need.
Learning Spanish can be easy and fun
Through 1stSpanish.com, I intend to gives students the opportunity to engage in the kind of repetition that will help them learn Spanish more effectively. In my view, repeating sentences is the best way to learn a language, and here I provide drills that change one or two elements of a sentence while maintaining the rest static. The small changes help you understand the grammar, and repeating the sentences solidifies your vocabulary and fluency. Using this system, you’ll find yourself progressing rapidly. The repetition takes time, and obviously, it’s repetitive, but if you see your Spanish improving, you’ll be energized to continue. I hope you enjoy the process.
